Mason holds an Associates in Automotive Mechanics, ASE certification, and a Bachelors from St. Mary's University. After working abroad as a supervisor for the US Department of Defense and United States Air Force in Japan, Mason returned to Texas and has most recently been Volt Work Force Solution's on-site and talent acquisition manager in Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
Mason founded La Mano Mechanical in 2013 -- specializing in automotive and motorcycle service of all makes and models ranging from cosmetic refurbishing to full systems restoration. It was with La Mano that the dream of helping others locate their ideal car.
At the age of 15, Mason built a 1969 Camaro using only a shell purchased for $1200. Without a motor, transmission, interior, wheels or tires, he was able to build the Camaro from the ground up with his own two hands. It was then his love affair with cars began.Passionate about the buying and selling of antique and vintage cars and motorcycles since the mid-90s, Mason is proud to combine his business skills and exceptional customer service with his 20+ years of automotive experience and technical background to co-found Pace Cars.
MBesides being an avid car enthusiast, Dr. Paul Pace is a world renowned hand and wrist surgeon with The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group. He is board certified by The American Board of Surgery (ABS), a graduate of Southern Methodist University, and completed medical school at Tulane University. Dr. Pace completed his surgical internship in New York City at Bellevue Hospital. He was also a surgical research fellow at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital and Harvard Medical School. This was followed by a surgical residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he trained at Memorial Hermann - Houston Hospital, the Texas Heart Institute - Houston and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center - Houston. Named to SA Scene's Best of 2017 Doctors, Dr. Pace specializes in carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, distal radius fractures, wrist arthritis, and Dupuytren’s Contracture. When he isn't in the operating room, Dr. Paul Pace is a lover of cars and classic automobiles. He is proud to be combining his love of cars in forming Pace Cars with son Mason Pace as they bring the best automobiles straight to you.
